Everything you need is at Villa Rose for your comfort, including towels and linen that are provided. There are 2 pools for your use and they are never crowded. Why choose an apartment when you could have a 3 bed house for around the same price!

The Bodrum Peninsula where Güllük is situated is known as being one of the most beautiful parts of Turkey. The peninsula has miles of beautiful coastline and mountain scenery with some of the best beaches in the Aegean, with a huge range of activities to choose from in the area. Visitors come for the all year round good weather, laid back lifestyle, night life and restaurants of the provincial town of Bodrum, and the tranquillity and relaxed atmosphere of small towns such as Güllük. Güllük is set in a protected bay on the Aegean coast and enjoys warm winters and hot summers. Gulluk is 10min from Bodrum airport and 30min to the historic town of Bodrum where the rich and famous holiday.

Local Information

Güllük, in Turkish, means “place of roses” and that probably gives more than a good first impression and introduction to this beautiful location on the Aegean Sea. Güllük is an authentic fishing village located at the north end of the Bodrum Peninsula. The town is surrounded by hills covered with olive, fig and citrus trees overlooking Güllük Bay known as the “fishing paradise of Turkey”. It is not surprising that the town of Güllük is famous for its fish restaurants, where sea bass and sea bream are a speciality. It has a good range of waterside restaurants and bars, beach clubs, modern supermarkets (Migros / Tesco) and banking facilities, and a weekly open air market whilst retaining its small town charms. The local people are warm, friendly and welcoming and English is widely spoken. The harbour provides a vibrant spot where fishing boats moor alongside yachts, and locals and tourists mingle along the promenade. During the evenings, the centre of Güllük is closed to road traffic and people spill over into the streets and dine at open-air cafes and restaurants fronting the promenade. The picturesque Bay of Güllük is full of small-unspoilt bays, coves and beaches and offers views over the historical site of Iassos; an ancient city founded by Greek colonists. Excursions and trips can be booked at one of the booking offices in Güllük centre.

It has three bathrooms one being on-suite. There is a master bedroom and a two further bedrooms with two beds in each, all equipped with wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside tables. There is air conditioning in all the rooms, which also provide heating on winter nights. There is a sofa bed in the lounge settee and armchair with sat tv, dvd, music etc. There is an information book on how to work appliances, where to go and what to do. Games, cards and books are provided to wile away the time by the pool or sitting in the garden. Further details outdoors: Villa Rose is set in a gated community of 20 houses in its own garden, stocked with shrubs, roses, orange and lemon trees. It has a large patio with climbing plants that reach the balcony. It is lovely to sit on the patio or balcony and watch the sun go down over the mountains. Several restaurants, supermarket and bars are only 5 minutes away, but you will not hear any noise whatsoever from them. Sunbeds for the pool are provided and a large table and chairs are on the patio. There is a caretaker who lives on the site 24hrs and three permanent residents.
